April 1, 2010: The Census is Coming! | Resansman rive! | El Censo viene!

   It's Important – Census data affect funding for your community, your community’s
   representation in Congress and your community leaders’ planning decisions.

   It's Easy – The census questionnaire takes only a few minutes to answer and return by mail.

   It's Safe – It is illegal for the Census Bureau to share your personal information with any
   government agency; not law enforcement, not IRS, not Welfare, not FBI, and not
   Immigration. No court of law, not even the President, can access your responses. Census
   workers are subject to a $250,000 fine and\or a five-year prison term for disclosure.


    What You Need to Do: When you get the Census questionairre in the mail, fill it out
    and mail it back promptly! On the question of RACE (question 9)
            1. Select the race category that best identifies you
            2. In addition, select the last choice: Some other race, and write in
                your Caribbean nation of ancestry.
